On Tuesday night (July 30), the Gorgie Suite at Tynecastle Park will host the first live event from Hearts Standard and Big Hearts.

Writers Joel Sked and James Cairney will be joined by former Heart of Midlothian stars Ryan Stevenson and Andrew Webster to preview the upcoming 2024/25 season which gets underway on Saturday with a home clash against Rangers in the Scottish Premiership.

We can reveal brief plans for the evening (timings subject to small tweaks):

6.30pm - doors open

7.00pm- Introduction and season preview

7.35ish - Quiz with signed Hearts memorabilia as prizes

7.45 - Break including a raffle

8.00 - Audience Q&A including a look back on the players' Hearts careers

8.45 - Event Finish

9.30 - Last orders

The guests will provide their unique insight and analysis of all things Hearts.

Stevenson was a popular figure across two spells at Tynecastle Park and played a key role during the 2010/11 season when the team were, at one point, title challengers under Jim Jefferies. We will also provide forensic analysis of Stevenson's stunning strike against Hibs in the League Cup.

Webster is currently the academy manager at Hearts. The hope is to discuss his role and look at the new intake of youngsters on professional contracts at Tynecastle Park. He was also a member of the last Hearts squad that finished third in consecutive seasons.

A ticket for the evening costs £15 which includes a pie and pint. As well as getting to hear from two Hearts stars of the past it is an opportunity to look ahead to the season coming up and also raise funds for Big Hearts.

Tickets can be bought on the door with cash and card accepted. They can also be purchased ahead of time HERE.
