James Cairney is joined by Scott McIntosh on the Monday briefing as the team look back on Heart of Midlothian's 2-1 win over Motherwell on Saturday.
Lawrence Shankland's first-half goal from a corner put Steven Naismith's men in the driving seat in North Lanarkshire before the Hearts skipper doubled his side's lead after the break with a composed finish. A Blair Spittal penalty 10 minutes from time reduced the arrears but the men from Gorgie held on to claim a valuable three points.
James and Scott examine the formation and team selection from Naismith, and discuss the game plan that left Hearts in control from start to finish at Fir Park. There's praise for Alex Lowry and Naismith's in-game decisions, and an explanation as to why the final expected goals (xG) totted up by both sides doesn't tell the full story.
