Heart of Midlothian will face Rangers in the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup.

Steven Naismith’s side booked their place in the final four with a 1-0 win away to Greenock Morton on Monday evening. After a subdued first half, Kenneth Vargas struck on 86 minutes to send the men in maroon on their way to victory.

The draw for the semi-final took place after full-time at Cappielow as Hearts were paired with Rangers, while Aberdeen will face Celtic in the other semi-final.

The matches will be held at Hampden Park on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 April.

Meanwhile, the women’s team will face Spartans in the semi-final of the Women’s Scottish Cup.

The fixtures will be played at the national stadium the following weekend.
