Three Heart of Midlothian stars have been called into Steve Clarke's provisional Scotland squad for Euro 2024.
Lawrence Shankland, Zander Clark and Craig Gordon have made the 28-man squad which was announced this morning. There had been hope around a fourth Hearts player being involved but Stephen Kingsley has not been selected.
Shankland, who finished the season with 31 goals, has put himself in contention to start for Scotland in their Euro 2024 opener when they face hosts Germany before matches with Switzerland and Hungary.
Clark and Gordon are two of four goalkeepers named in the provisional squad. The former won his first cap in 2023 in a friendly with France and has since played twice more. Gordon, who has 74 caps, has not played since 2022 due to injury. He was, called back into the squad in March.
Scotland will prepare for the tournament with a friendly in Portugal against Gibraltar followed by a clash with Northern Ireland at Hampden Park.
Clarke will cut his squad further before the start of the tournament.
