What are your reflections on that, Eva?

I'm a little frustrated. The first half I think we were too deep and for that, they scored the first goal. But the second half we wanted to be brave and we were so close at 1-0 to score. If we score that goal everything changes. Last minutes we put more players forward to try to score. When you do that you are brave but you can concede too. You have to take a risk because it is a final, you cannot just do the same if you are losing.

Are you proud of how the team responded in the second half?

Yeah, totally. We felt they were getting nervous. For that, in minute 80 we changed the plan and we just wanted to score and for that, we put more players forward and tried to put balls [forward] and create but in the counter, they score and the game was done but we had to try. I'm proud that at 2-0 we were still trying to score because you never know. You score, 2-1 and last minute they are so nervous and you score another. I'm proud because they try until the last moment.

What are your reflections on the season as a whole?

I was saying in the changing room, all the objectives we said at the beginning of the season we got. Everything, fourth place, more points, more goals, a final. For me, the next step is at the beginning of next season saying, 'We have to win the final'. This season was arriving in a final which was massive for us. But, of course, next season we want to be more ambitious with our objectives.

How beneficial is the final experience for the younger players?

In this last period, we had a lot of injuries, Georgia Hunter, Georgia Timms, Addie Handley. They are starting line-up players. We tried to look positively and give opportunity to the younger players and it is amazing at 16 years old, how they played today. It is just positive looking at the future.

Did you feel Hearts were closer to the 'Big Three' after today?

I want to play against them dominating more of the game, having more possession, having more opportunities. I think next season that is going to happen.

What happens next?

We have a lot of work. Players are leaving but others will arrive. We think we need a new starting point, these three years have been transitional and because we started amateur and finished like a professional set-up, next season we start with a [new] starting point and we go to compete.
