Heart of Midlothian are set to sign Gambian forward Musa Drammeh after his departure from Sevilla.

The 22-year-old is expected to join this week having spent the last two years with Sevilla Atletico, the club's second string who play in the Spanish fourth tier. He can play through the middle or wide right.

Hearts have been looking to bolster their attacking options having already confirmed four summer additions with more to follow.

Drammeh will arrive on a free after the Andaulsian side didn't extend his contract. He joined Sevilla in 2022 and was tracked by several English Championship sides in January. It was reported that Sunderland, Cardiff City and Birmingham City were all keen on the player with the Black Cats having a bid rejected as the forward was pushing toward being moved up to Sevilla's first-team.

He will join Blair Spittal, James Penrice, Daniel Oyegoke and Ryan Fulton as summer additions. Yan Dhanda is likely to be announced in the coming days while the club are still working on a deal to bring Costa Rican international Gerald Taylor to the club.

Hearts return to pre-season training later this week ahead of the 2024/25 campaign. They will spend time at the Oriam before heading to Tenerife for a warm-weather training camp next month. Friendlies have been organised with Leyton Orient, Tottenham Hotspur and Fleetwood Town.
