Heart of Midlothian will kick off their Premiership season with a home clash with Rangers on Saturday, August 3.

The match will get the Premiership campaign underway on Sky Sports with a 12.30pm kick-off.

It will be the 10th time the club have started their campaign with a clash with the Ibrox side, as per Hearts Heritage. The last time was in 2015.

 It is followed by a trip to Dens Park to face Dundee at 5.30pm on Saturday, August 10. That match will be shown live on Premier Sports. The Europa League play-off ties are to be played on August 22 and 29. Hearts play a League Cup tie going into the first-leg before facing Motherwell away and Dundee United at home either side of those European matches.

The first derby of the season will take place at Easter Road on Saturday, October 26. As things stand it is pencilled in for a 3pm kick-off. There is a Boxing Day derby at Tynecastle Park which has already been selected for live coverage from Sky Sports and will get underway at 12.30pm. The final derby scheduled is on Saturday, March 1.

Hearts have opened their last three top-flight campaigns with a win. There were victories over Celtic and Ross County at home before picking up three points against St Johnstone at McDiarmid Park last season.
