Heart of Midlothian are set to sell out season tickets for a third season running.

In the previous two campaigns, 15,500 fans have snapped up season tickets with a large waiting list in place. Eleven months ago Hearts chief executive Andrew McKinlay revealed there were close to 7,000 supporters on the list.

As things stand, there is "an extremely limited amount of season tickets available" with the club "working through" the waiting list as they look to give as many fans as possible the chance to watch the team next season.

"Once again, our season ticket renewal rate has been exceptional and we thank the fans for their continued commitment to backing the club," a club spokesperson told Hearts Standard.

"With an extremely limited amount of season tickets available, Ticket Office staff are in the process of working through our season ticket waiting list to ensure that as many supporters as possible are given the opportunity to experience what promises to be a blockbuster season 2024/25 at Tynecastle Park.

"Take up from the waiting list has been excellent and we expect to be putting up the ‘sold out’ signs very soon."

There was a "slight price increase" for season tickets for this campaign after four years of frozen prices. It is the only way for fans to guarantee their seat for the European fixtures with the club hosting at least four.

"Ultimately, due to rising costs associated with all aspects of staging football matches, the upcoming campaign will see a slight price increase which will see a return to season 2019/20 prices," the club said when prices were released in March.

"We fully understand the challenges faced by supporters during the current financial climate. This is why we have taken the decision to launch season tickets earlier than usual, to give fans every opportunity to secure their seat for next season and not miss out on any of the action."

Due to demand Hearts increased the allocation for home fans last season with the exception of Edinburgh derbies. All Premiership teams, aside from Hibs, are limited to one section of the Roseburn Stand.

"Huge demand from our fans means we already have a large number of season ticket holders in the Roseburn Stand, the traditional away part of the ground, and those season tickets apply for every game other than Hibernian," McKinlay told Sky Sports last summer.

"We've taken the decision that all teams other than Hibs will get the one section at the end of the stand, and we've come to an agreement with Hibs, which is great, to keep the derby as it should be and to make the atmosphere, which we all think is fantastic."
