The Heart of Midlothian manager is Steven Naismith. During his playing days as a striker, Naismith played for the likes of Kilmarnock, Rangers and Everton before moving into coaching and joining Steve Clarke's Scotland national team staff in his post-playing days.
Naismith later took on the role of Hearts' player development manager and went on to manage the club's B team in 2022.
When Robbie Neilson was dismissed towards the end of the 2022/23 season, Naismith took over as interim manager. After a successful interim period, he was appointed as the club’s technical director in June 2023, before being named head coach in September 2023.
Naismith guided Hearts to the Scottish Cup and League Cup semi-finals during his first full season in charge, as well as sealing third place – and guaranteed European league phase football in the 2024/25 season – in impressive fashion.
