Heart of Midlothian will play either Kryvbas or Viktoria Plzen in the Europa League play-off round.
The two teams meet in the Europa League qualifying third round meaning Hearts won't find exactly who they will play until a week on Thursday. Ukrainian side Kryvbas host Viktoria Plzen on Thursday evening with the game taking place in Kosice, Slovakia. The second leg is the following week.
With Hearts drawn out second, Steven Naismith's men are scheduled to be home in the second leg. However, that is subject to change. As per UEFA: "Any changes of date and fixture reversals will be communicated in writing to the clubs and their respective associations today, 5 August 2024 by 18.00 CET (5pm UK)".
The games are scheduled to take place on August 22 and 29. The winners of the tie will progress to the league phase of the Europa League where they will play a further eight games. The losers will drop into the league phase of the Conference League where they will play six games.
