Up for grabs is a place in the league phase of the Europa League. The club would earn more than €4million straight away from the starting fee and could face the likes of Manchester United, Roma, Athletic Bilbao, Eintracht Frankfurt and Lyon with eight matches in total.

Should Hearts lose they will drop into the Conference League and play six games against six different opponents.

Plzen finished third in the Czech 1.Liga last season and have started this campaign with 10 points from their first four games.

In the first leg they got a big second-half performance from last season's top scorer Pavel Sulc while 16-year-old Jiri Panos scored a wonder goal.

It was a tight second leg with Kryvbas dangerous going forward but Plzen secured their passage with a second-half goal from the No.51-wearing Daniel Vasulin, set up by Sulc.
