Frankie Kent could feature for Heart of Midlothian against Viktoria Plzen, giving Steven Naismith a huge injury boost ahead of the Europa League play-off tie.

The centre-back sat out of the 2-0 loss to Falkirk in the Premier Sports Cup on Saturday with a toe injury after it got an infection.

Kent, however, was back in training at Oriam ahead of flying out to Czechia for the game on Thursday night.

The 28-year-old has been a leading figure for the club since signing from Peterborough United last summer. His presence could prove vital against a Viktoria Plzen side who look to flood the box with crosses.

In the No.51-wearing Daniel Vasulin, the Czechs have a big, physical striker who thrives on balls into the box.

Hearts will be without injured duo Calem Nieuwenhof and Beni Baningime while Andres Salazar has not been included in the squad list for the tie.

Steven Naismith and a player will speak to the media at the Doosan Arena at 6pm UK time.
