Heart of Midlothian have confirmed their fixtures for the league phase of the Conference League - and will head to Azerbaijan for one of their matches.

In the first edition of the new format of the tournament, the Jam Tarts were given home games against German outfit Heidenheim, Cypriot's Omonia Nicosia and Petrocub of Moldova. The away fixtures are at Danish giants Copenhagen, Cercle Brugge of Belgium and Belarus side Dinamo Minsk.

The game against Minsk will take place behind closed doors in Azerbaijan.

Belarus have been sanctioned by UEFA for the country's role in the war with Ukraine. Unlike Russia, their clubs have not been banned from playing in continental competitions. They are, however, not able to play home matches in Belarus with their qualifying games having taken place in Hungary.

Following discussions between the clubs and UEFA, the dates have been locked in:

Matchday 1: 3 October @ 5.45pm - Dinamo Minsk v Hearts (Azerbaijan)
