The Foundation of Hearts is nearing the £18million milestone in money handed over to Heart of Midlothian with the group revealing an increase of 400 pledgers since August.

The club's majority shareholders and its volunteers have been working hard in recent months to deliver various projects as they seek to further enggage with supporters.

It sees the number of pledgers near the 9,000 mark while the money raised is nearly at £17.786million.

The increase in pledgers has been in part due to the Foundation running a lapsed members campaign. Volunteers contacted former pledgers to get feedback and discuss its aims. They have also engaged with 'Faraway Fans', those supporters who are unable to attend games on a weekly or even regular basis to make them feel connected to the club.
