It’s the night most musical fans await every year and BBC viewers are in luck as the Big Night of Musicals by the National Lottery is returning once more.
For 2024, the all-singing, dancing and acting extravaganza will feature the likes of theatre stars Beverley Knight, Daniel Mays, Nicole Scherzinger and Alfie Boe.
There will also be performances from 12 of the UK’s West End and touring productions including Everybody's Talking About Jamie, Aladdin, Grease the Musical, Mrs Doubtfire the Musical, The Wizard of Oz, Moulin Rouge! the Musical and so much more.
Line of Duty’s Daniel will take to the stage with Guys & Dolls, Alfie returns to Les Misérables for a special one-off performance and Beverley performs with some of the next generation of musical theatre stars.
Came second in our local pub quiz at the @JollySailorPub1 last night! Grateful of having a ringer like @mralfieboe in the music round! Also specialist subjects from Lucy (Tv expert) Simon (primary school teacher!) & Zoe (an actual scientist!). I mop up the general knowledge! 😂 pic.twitter.com/wYC6xVauAz
