Luca Toolan has become a regular face on TV after debuting on Coronation Street last year as 'bad boy' student Mason Radclyffe, but did you know he also has a well-known father.
The 19-year-old made his professional acting debut on Corrie at the back end of 2023 playing the role of Radclyffe who is part of a storyline tackling the issue of bullying in schools.
But Luca is not the only famous member of the Toolan family with his father Mike also well-known across the UK.
Who is Coronation Street star Luca Toolan's famous father?
Toolan appeared on This Morning on Monday (February 26) to talk about his role on Coronation Street alongside Rochelle Humes and Andi Peters who were hosting the show.
It was Humes, who mid-way through the interview realised the Coronation Street star's dad was Hits Radio DJ Mike Toolan.
While on This Morning, The Mirror reports, Humes said to Toolan: "I know your dad!"
"Sorry, I didn't know it was that Mike!"
"When we were in [The Saturdays] we used to do radio tours and we always used to see your dad.
"Sorry, that took me by surprise."
Mike Toolan hosts a show on Hits Radio with former Hollyoaks star Gemma Atkinson which airs weekdays at 4pm.
Atkinson is currently on maternity leave for the birth of her second child.
In Atkinson's absence Toolan is hosting the show with Brooke Vincent who played Sophie Webster in Coronation Street and also took part in Dancing On Ice back in 2018 where she came runner up to TV personality and singer Jake Quickenden.
Luca Toolan struggles to watch Coronation Street with his family
Luca Toolan revealed back in October that he had kept the audition process for this role on Corrie a secret from his dad as he was "quite superstitious" but said he was over the moon when he finally told him the good news.
Mike said he was so proud of his son for getting the part.
Former Corrie actress Vincent also congratulated Luca upon the announcement saying: "You are going to have a ball - I can already see it."

But Luca revealed on This Morning that he struggled to watch Coronation Street with his family.
According to The Mirror, he said: "I can watch myself but I don't like to, not for reasons you'd expect like the self conscious actor.
"It's because I usually watch it with my family or my grandma and they're looking at me like, ‘Who is this? Am I sitting next to an animal? Because it is me doing these horrible things on the screen."
