Craig Levein represented Heart of Midlothian over 300 times in his playing career before managing the club twice since hanging up his boots - but there's one thing most fans knew nothing about.
The 59-year-old also had a spell leading the Scotland national team, which became synonymous with a bizarre 4-6-0 formation against Czech Republic during Euro 2012 qualification. And most recently he was in charge of St Johnstone before being replaced by Simo Valakari earlier this week.
Valakari, who arrives from Latvian outfit Riga FC, wears an earring on the touchline, something that's pretty rare within Scottish football.
Asked on William Hill's The Warm Up Show if he'd ever considered wearing jewellery, Levein made a stunning revelation and explained exactly where he donned a piercing.
He replied: "No, but I had a nipple ring once. When was I at Leicester - 2004 to 2006.
"I was at Leicester, and I sported that nipple ring for one and a half years.”
Allan commented: "That has got a lad's holiday written all over it."
But the out of work boss explained the circumstances and he confirmed: "It was a ring".

The former Hearts gaffer also touched upon his recent sacking from St Johnstone.
Levein had successfully helped the Perth club remain in the Scottish Premiership last season, but after a challenging start this time around new owner Adam Webb decided to pull the plug on his tenure.
Asked if it still hurts despite having experienced the feeling of being relieved from his duties several times in his management career, Levein said: "I've been sacked that many times that I'm pretty good at seeing it coming.
"If you shell out the money to buy a club then you are entitled to run it any way you want to. It's Adam’s club and I have to fall into line or leave, one of the two."
