Heart of Midlothian moved to within four points of St Mirren in third after Wednesday night's 1-0 success over Livingston at Tynecastle Park.
It was a match the home side dominated with 25 shots and 77 per cent of possession. On another day Steven Naismith's men could have won by three or four. It was an important three points ahead of the Viaplay Cup semi-final after dropping points to Hibs and back-to-back defeats to the Old Firm
Joel Sked is joined by James Cairney to discuss the three points. What did they make of the formation as Naismith stuck with a back three? The pair looked at the role of Lawrence Shankland and the contribution of Jorge Grant who replaced Cammy Devlin at half-time and provided the assist for the winner. A goal scored by Kenneth Vargas, his first in the maroon and white of Heart of Midlothian. The Costa Rican, of course got plenty of attention, while they also discussed an off night for Liam Boyce.
